Fair enough, although my takeaway from the article is that when he said that, he was indicating he was not making a legal ruling on whether or not they were valid after Kim’s lawyers claimed that they would not be, while the state lawyers said they would be.

And again, I don’t really regard Kim’s lawyers as a valid source for the law.
