trump attacked the security agencies - even before he took office. Didn’t want any security briefings - not interested in any way. Suddenly the FBI and CIA become the best of friends and the Russia investigated gets ramped up.

(Interesting Side Note: The BBC show entitled “Spooks”, which ran for 10 years, was presented in the US as MI-5 because it was thought that the British title would be interpreted in the States as a slur against black people.)
