He claims the title is “4:44 was written when Jay-Z woke up one morning at 4:44 AM, and recorded at Jay-Z’s house using Beyoncé’s mic.”

But I don’t believe that story. I think its “for Barak, sorry I set a bad example of black husband/father behavior, after you were such a great public role model…”
