The reason Hannity warned him not to do that is that the firestorm could turn the Blue Wave into a Tsunami. Right now the GOP still has a chance of retaining control of Both the House and the Senate. If they lose control of either, the Democrats will pick up Mueller’s investigation where he left off, and if the Democrats gain control of both, that will double the investigations.
