There are no “both sides are to blame” when it comes to genocide.

Kurt misses the point here, IMO: Why are the Kurds and the Turks set to “fight”? And wouldn’t prudent statecraft dictate (since we’re involved there anyway) that we do our best to try to avoid such “fighting”? Even leaving aside the horrific probability that most casualties in said fight are likely to be civilians/women/children?

And yeah, maybe the term “prudent statecraft” in the Trump Admin needs the obligatory “sarc tag”…. ///
