I’d love that too, but… it’s hard to figure out how to scare people shitless when half the world’s military budget hasn’t seemed to do the trick so far.

I wonder how much of that is spent on keeping troops in such places as South Vietnam, Germany, the Middle East (excluding Iraq) et al to ensure a balance of power. If not for the US’s presence, how long ago would have South Korea fallen to the north?

ALSO, from the note on the bottom it includes funding for TWO war fronts, Iraq and Afghan. How many of the othre nations on that list are doing that
