Nuclear personnel are trained, screened, and tested with the idea that when the order comes down, they won’t question it.

Some group sitting in a silo in Western Nebraska, or a crew on a submarine somewhere isn’t getting the world news in their command. If an order went out, I would be quite sure that many or most commands would carry it out.

That is a scary thought. I’m sure you’re probably right, but I hope Trump’s military advisers can talk him down from a launch. If anything, they could remind him that he’ll go down in history as the man who destroyed civilization as we know it.
