I had similar opinions of the police as you growing up. These past few years my opinion has changed as a result of everyone now having a video recording device of some sort.

Henderson police in the past always gave off the impression of too many cops and not enough to do.

I had one experience where one “fell” asleep at a traffic light, so I lightly honked at him to get him moving. Yep, he didn’t like that. He pulled over to the side, let me pass, and then proceeded to ride my car’s butt around the area for the next 15 minutes until I got to my destination. How nice of him for the escort.

They think they’re above the law and criticism because they have a tough and stressful job. I admit it’s a job I could never do but they’re not above criticism either.
