Picked up Pete Souza’s book today at the local B&N (The Woodlands, TX.). Got lots of stares from the geriatric, Fox News anger mob. Fuck em, great book.

Over a photo book? JFC. Our local GOPers are actually fairly friendly though. Made it pretty clear to the older gentleman passing out Republican sample ballots I was voting straight Dem but he was nice about it and seemed happy that turnout was high even though he has to know turnout isn’t good for the GOP. I encountered a volunteer for the GOP when I was going door to door on Saturday too. She was friendly enough. Felt kind of bad because she looked quite young but we were good natured to each other and I wished her good luck.
