I don’t think I completely agree with the take on the Daily Mirror front page; isn’t the point from Daily Mirror that an innocent child can grow into someone truly evil? There is no ambiguity in the headline — they characterize him as an “evil far-right mass killer”. They aren’t excusing or justifying his actions at all. Aren’t the headlines saying that Omar Mateen was responding to ISIS ideology while Brenton Tarrant was part of far-right ideology? That far-right and ISIS are equally monstrous?

There isn’t a single organization on the right that has the renown and influence as ISIS.

Probably the main objection is that the picture is of him as an “angelic child” while the Omar photo is as an adult.
