By the way, I was curious why Kroger, which actually exists, shows up on that map. So I had to look it up. Apparently there are no Kroger stores in the DC area.

Apparently, the Harris-Teeter chain, which has a lot of stores around me in the DC Region, merged with Kroger. The nearest ‘Kroger’ stores that Google Maps shows are in the Richmond and Charlottesville Virginia areas.
