I lived in LaFayette for three years and Bloomington for about 13 years. During that time I did a lot of road biking in those areas and both have gorgeous scenery—really the best riding with varied terrain. I did teacher-training workshops in several areas of southern Indiana, and as you say, terribly scenic. Just having a little fun. Now, my hometown on prairie of Illinois? You have to really adjust your lenses to find the beauty—it’s there among the endless corn fields, but it’s there.
