Whenever someone advocates torture, or suspending habeus corpus, or wire-tapping citizens, or any other “necessary” steps to defend citizens from the (still) roughly 1 in 6,000,000 chance of dying in a terrorist attack, I have to ask: what exactly would you say we’re fighting for, then?
What’s left to defend? Football on Sundays?
I wouldn’t know, as I haven’t “advocated torture”.
