Well, I don’t personally abide by the silly tenet that it’s acceptable to insult a set of ideas only if it doesn’t have the label of “religion” smacked on it.

People as a whole should lighten up. A bit of blasphemy is good for the soul.

My parents taught me to show people common courtesy. Apparently, that’s an outdated concept if parents are no longer teaching their kids that it’s okay to say things like that, regardless of whether it’s about religion or some other subject.

I wonder what the reaction would have been if it had been an anti-Semitic screed aimed at Jews and the word “Allah” had been replaced with the Hebrew word for God? Would you still be amused? Would more people have jumped down your throat?
