With the way the PRC has treated its neighbors, its minorities (and the groups related to the minorities), I expect a backlash against China. A big one. I don’t think China will be able to hold on to much of it’s territory, especially if the Tibetans and Uyghurs decide to do a Reconquista.

China isn’t the Soviet Union. I wouldn’t expect them to break up all that willingly. We’re talking about a country that still thinks of Taiwan as if it belongs to them…
