We always gave the 9th and 10th guys on the roster a good cheer if they got in. Generally a walk-on, though one was the son of one of the assistant coaches as I recall.

Yeah this guy was actually the son of a good friend of the head coach’s going way back to I believe their high school or college days. I miss Larranaga at Mason. My last semester was Hewitt’s first year so I don’t really have an opinion of him but Larranaga just was a character. He’s got this thick New York accent and likes to joke around with the reporters. I really hope Miami’s going well for him. While I was disappointed with the move, Fairfax, Va in winter or Miami, Florida. Easy choice and even easier one with the money he was offered.
