When you try (and I have before, the dog and I have better conversations) to talk to them about say, taking ideas from various nations’ healthcare programs, the points that work, and try to work with those to make something that would work in the US, they really cannot grasp that it’s possible to do that. It’s one way or the other and the other way is just wrong, and you just don’t understand the big picture like they do. I gave up. I like talking to my dog anyway.
