TBH, I thought this place was crawling with fanatics the first few years I started reading LGF, but I kept coming back ‘cause every now and again I would run into folks like freetoken and Shiplord Kirel and Alouette and wrenchwench, who were and still are very rational people. Charles made his break with the right and CuriousLurker (RIP Aminah) started really punching things up!

Yes, I came on board around 2007, just as the site started shifting. And stayed on for much the same reasons as you cited.
