I’ll point out that Bart’s mortal enemy is both portrayed by a staunch Republican and is portrayed as one too. Me thinks Ted never actually watches the Simpsons and just thinks this is a cool way of trying to appear hip.

The Simpsons are almost 30 years old. Uh, I guess that could be considered hip to a bunch of old stuffed-shirt conservatives at CPAC.
