Once you go Wegmans, you never go back. And I’ve been in most of those. We actually make a point to go into supermarkets on our vacations to see what kind of local food is available.

Also interesting is that the supermarkets that top the list are also among those that treat their workers best. Wegmans is particularly known for that, as is Costco. So too is Trader Joe’s.

I would really love to go to WinCo more often—it’s employee-owned and just a great place to shop—but it’s several miles away. Laziness über alles, I guess.
