Been trying to think why there would be that many on board a KC-130. It’s not like when we did practice insertions with our scout platoon in a regular C-130 where you would have a large number of passengers and our jeeps. Lots strange in the few details that have come out.

USMC KC-130s are regularly used as a cargo and troop carrier too. Hell, when they add Harvest HAWK to them, they can conduct precision strikes.
