As for the issue of men who find themselves in that position (victim), I was sort of hoping that the Kevin Spacey revelations might create a similar tidal wave from men. However, while women will reinforce each other (generally, and with some men on their side) to amplify their voice (see the recent Me Too hashtag over at Twitter), it is still too much social stigma for men to do that sort of thing. Perhaps in the future, but not likely in my lifetime.

I did note when that hashtag was trending that the few men who ventured in with their own stories of being assaulted or harassed were quickly attacked as “this is our safe space, go get your own.”
