Not all players took a knee during the National Anthem in protest. Will a player that raises a fist eventually be penalized? Will a player who does not “appropriately” stand during the anthem be penalized? Hand over heart? Military Salute? Where do we go?

Plus, having the teams out for the Anthem is still a relatively new concept in the NFL. Through HS and College Football, my team was only on the field for the National Anthem once in 8 years, and that was the first game we played after 9/11. With my team currently, we are in the locker room when the Anthem plays for our home games. We are only in place to be close to the field for the Anthem on road games with little to no locker room space.
