@OrrinHatch just told 3 different women reporters that rape isn’t cause for keeping a man off the #SCOTUS for life and I am stunned.

That’s a step up from saying “Brett Kavanaugh did not do this”

1. He did not do this
2. It was a long time ago
3. Even if he did it - it was still a long time ago
4. This is no reason to stop the nomination
