To me, it’s all of a piece. The entitlement, the lying, the drunken toxic masculine performing, the partisanship, the sneering contempt for anyone who stands in the way of him getting what he feels he deserves. It’s how I think, putting together a picture of Kavanaugh as a person. It’s why the allegations from Ford, Ramirez, and (forgot her name) all make sense, and are completely IN character, not out of character at all. To me, the entitled prick who tried to badger Sen Klobuchar, who lied so transparently about his drinking, and about the entries in his calendar and yearbook is exactly the kind of guy who’d push a 15 year old girl down on the bed and start groping her to impress a friend, and then either lie about it, or not even remember it because the girl’s humanity was so unimportant to him.

Hey, I might be wrong, but I prefer a more wholistic approach to painting the picture of his totally unsuitable nature.

I don’t think that’s it — he blacks out, doesn’t recall events, and doesn’t realize that he has actually blacked out. Is it possible that he was under the influence during his Thursday performance?
