True. However, Trudeau is also saddled by the legacy of his father who was one of the more polarizing Prime Ministers we’ve ever had. There are many Canadians who simply refuse to vote for a Trudeau. Justin was also tainted by a scandal earlier this year (google “SNC Lavalin” for more on that) which soured some Canadians on him.

That said there are also plenty of us who realize Andrew Scheer is an asshole, so we’ll see what happens.
