You said it all. While nothing is being said, I do get the general feeling that people somehow know they have been duped. The enthusiasm for his “great leadership” has turned more into “what can he do for me”.

Interesting. And, worrying. If his base stop seeing themselves as a vanguard of progress and start thinking of themselves as a persecuted minority “with only Obama to help us”….
