Yeah, the anti-Arab bigotry can be really bad. I remember one guy fomr Isfahan taught me this little bit of rhyming Farsi snark:

The guy that told it to me thought it was too funny.

It’s not just anti-Arab bigotry. It’s straight up anti-Muslim bigotry. They seriously think they are superior to others because of their past civilizations they brought up.

Look, I’m proud of my Indo-Persian roots as much as they are, but I’m not going to look down on my Islamic heritage while gloating about pre-Islamic heritage. I can be proud of both, to the dismay of the Salafis and the pan-Iranian crackpots who keep gloating about past glories.

And yes, Arabs can be just as horrible with their anti-Persian bigotry as well, and it will always keep going on and on and on. It didn’t stop for hundreds of years and it won’t stop any time soon.
