Thing about this Spirit Cooking kerfuffle: All the superstitious fundies who buy into this are already in the Trump basket. Everyone else is likely to see it as definitive proof that the Republicans are either batshit crazy or utterly depraved.

For that reason alone, I’ve got my fingers crossed that Rudy will be all over the Sunday shows blathering about Satanism and bondage spaghetti. I want as many people as possible saying, “Holy shit, all these people are completely insane. I better be damn sure I vote against them.”
