That bogus RW talking point comes from this FBI chart which shows that more people have been beaten to death with hands, feet, fists, than killed with a certain type of firearm without counting other types of firearms.

The problem with that guy’s letter to the editor is it’s a Gish Gallop. The Star-Herald only allows four hundred-word letters, so rebutting all his wingnut talking points and keeping it within four hundred words will be hard.

I’ve done it before with them, so it’s more a writing challenge.
