This is huge. The Supreme Court has ruled Quill is invalid.

Wayfair v. South Dakota.

Kennedy delivered opinion, with Thomas, Ginsberg, Alito, and Gorsuch (Thomas and Gorsuch also filed concurring opinions).

Roberts, Breyer, Sotomayor, and Kagan filed the dissenting opinion.

Generally, states cannot impose undue burden on interstate commerce, and state laws that discriminate against interstate commerce are per se rule of invalidity. This is central to the whole purpose and operation of the Commerce Clause of the US Constitution.

The Court is ending the physical presence rule in Quill.

This is out of my area of expertise. What are the implications, both good and bad?

Edit: In my very naïve thinking, this would invalidate both blocking weed and guns.
