‘you’re not going to like it’ is not a threat

“you’re not going to like it” sounds like a pretty explicit threat to me. If it was a child and not a dog, and a man said that, then followed it up by trying to entice the child over to him, the man would be dead, or I would be. Not saying she isn’t entitled, but this guy could definitely have handled this a bit better.
