Yes, there are stupid people on the internet. There will always be stupid people on Twitter, Facebook, and random news sites who express sympathy for assholes like Dorner. They will let their hatred of the LAPD cloud their perceptions and they will buy into whatever conspiracy makes the cops look the worst.

There are Breivik fans, and Tim McVeigh fans, and Charles Manson fans, for fuck’s sake. This isn’t new. The difference is one of influence. A few random moonbats and imbeciles saying they think Dorner was a hero are not a surprise. If a bunch of LA politicians were to suddenly start empathizing with Dorner, OTOH, that would be a problem.
