I haven’t seen it mentioned here, so I’ll chime in to say that I saw a report on TV this evening that Stephen Paddock (or somebody - they are assuming it was him) had secreted a small webcam - on a food cart in the hallway of the Mandalay Bay - so that (as they are surmising) he would be able to see anybody “sneaking” up on him from the hall.
So so much for the Internet Tough Guys’ “bust in and heroically stop him” BS: a heavily-armed psychotic sniper/killer is bad enough: a thoughtful and well-prepared heavily-armed psychotic sniper/killer is a couple of degrees worse….
