The fact that Romney feels he must or would like to participate in CPAC, which is basically a hate group/Fundie dream retreat, says just as much about Romney as it does CPAC.

He made one courageous decision, now it’s back to business as usual trying to stand shoulder to shoulder with the other assholes, except they threaten to play rough. Oh well. That’s your pack, Mitt. Love ‘em or leave ‘em.

Romney has not attended the annual event since (2013), and his plans for this year were not clear. A representative for Romney declined to comment Monday, and CPAC did not immediately respond to an inquiry from The Washington Post.
