Dallas County officials say community spread of coronavirus has occurred in North Texas

Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins late Thursday announced that five more people there have tested positive for the new coronavirus — and that one of them had no recent travel history.

“This indicates we have community spread of COVID-19 in Dallas County,” Jenkins said.

So the question is how bad things will get here in the US.

Currently the case mortality is very high here in the US. But that is because we have failed to test adequately.

The death rates in Iran and Italy are high now because the health care systems cannot handle the case loads. In South Korea and Japan, which are still able to adequately care for those infected, the case deaths are much lower.
