Can you tell us any about your job?

Sure. I’m a junior support engineer for Alcatel-Lucent in Ottawa. Which after a bunch of mergers, etc is the old Bell labs and parts of Nortel. The division I’ll be working for is more or less the back end stuff for internet on cell phones. Starts out as a support position, moves into planning and deployment for big providers (think AT&T, Verizon).

Its very in line with what I did in school, and I think I really hit it off well with people in the interviews.

Thanks, its a nice city. Texas would be fun though, gotta love a little bit of culture shock.
