I don’t really care about Pelosi being Speaker one way or another. But I do think that any Democrats who vowed to vote against her on the House floor and thereby threatening to give the GOP the Speakership assuming the Dem caucus chose her as their candidate, should be given dead last priority for committee assignments. You can’t reward that kind of shitty, reckless-ass brinksmanship. Fuck them.

And yes, I realize most of those people don’t have any seniority to begin with, but I’d still search high and low for a creative way to fuck them up.
