It’s really telling that it seems like the RW punditariat’s main reaction to the NY Post’s bullshit “Hunter Biden Email” “scoop” appears to be focused mainly on vaporing “outrage” about “censorship” and how mean and biased and censorshippy social media has been over reportage on this crap…

And almost NOTHING I have seen* seems to address in the least:
1. Any actual charges/accusations/malfeasance these emails might reveal even if they are real - which is enormously doubtful.
2. Any serious questions as to the provenance/authenticity of either:
a. The “unclaimed laptops” story
b. The data supposed “discovered” via a.
c. The claims of the FBI being involved
3. Any serious inquiry into the timeline of these “revelations”, and the overt involvement of political operatives - from the get-go (lookin’ at YOU, Rudy!)

How it seems to me is fairly obvious: out of desperation at bad polling, the Trump campaign trotted out this stale “Ukrainegate” nonsense for the Murdoch Media to use as political hatchet job on Joe/Hunter Biden. But as usual, ended up chopping themselves in their own foot.

This is why Trump and friends are just happy with an investigation getting reported or mentioned without worrying about any actual investigation being done. They know that the media will run with the mere rumor of a scandal involving the Democrats and not care about facts, accuracy, or the fact they are being conned since those results can be buried on page 6 weeks later when the political damage has been done and the eyeballs of the public are looking at something else. The gossip is profitable, so to hell with journalistic integrity.
