I never wrote about legislation. Roe V. Wade is the law of the land. As long as it stands (which will be for a very long time) I have no problem with it.

So if it’s repealed you might have a problem with it? This strikes me as incredibly passive and not at all how people actually tend approach the law. It’s something they say when they don’t want to express opposition to what they actually view as an injustice.

Think about the historical consequences for a second, “as long as Loving v. Virginia is the law of the land I have no problem with it,” implies were it repealed I would be equally okay with going back to the illegality of interracial marriage.

There’s an opinion in there somewhere, smothering it isn’t going to help anyone.
