Good morning from Corpus Christi! We survived the night relatively intact. Still no power here at the senior living community, but the husband was able to make it to the house and we have power!!! We lost 2 fences but that wasn’t really a surprise. 2 trees down in neighbors’ yards but both missed hitting houses. Roof seems to be intact but the next 48 hours may test that.

Friends who live in Rockport fear their house is gone. The live a block from the school that collapsed so they are bracing for the worst possible news on that front. Bad thing is they evacuated to New Braunfels which is now being lashed by Harvey, so they are stuck there. Maybe that’s better as the news will have time to sink in.

I’m off to deliver cinnamon rolls, fruit and bottled water to our residents, just wanted to check in and give y’all an update.
