Dunno what it may be a sign of, but I’m amazed at the size of the wild turkeys I just spotted stalking through my yard (Berkshires, MA) - 10-12 lbs, easily (and yes, like a cartoon character, my thoughts imagine a steaming roasting pan whenever I spot these critters) - been a good year for them, anyway (despite the coyotes, foxes and bears)….

Did you set out a trap? November’s just around the corner…
