“This is the realization of your worst nightmare—that, in a school, that our children could be attacked. And so as quickly…as that SRO responded and engaged, there’s grievous injuries to two students.” https://t.co/DepwIOp8H1

A student bringing a gun to school and shooting his classmates and then being shot by a SRO is not a win. It’s a preventable tragedy. Kids in peer nations don’t bring guns to school. SROs in peer nations aren’t expected to shoot students.

Would you rather that armed School Resource Officer wasn’t there and a bunch of innocent people were killed?
Hell yes, that School Resource Officer shooting that bad guy with a gun is a win. A huge win. https://t.co/6jS7RUxfim— Joe Walsh (@WalshFreedom) March 20, 2018
These shouldn’t be the only two choices.
A 17 year old kid is dead. Two more teenagers are wounded and in the hospital. Only a goddamned psychopath would call that winning. https://t.co/8LXoIdx1gD— Stonekettle (@Stonekettle) March 21, 2018
