Isn’t the point, though, of both articles that almost anyone (especially someone young and naive) can be transformed into a monster or maniac by a toxic ideology that makes enemies of those who are different and targets them for murder? Or makes enemies of those who don’t share your ideology or those who don’t worship your cult leader?
