It really says a lot (none of it good) when the only criticism that could be aimed at that hearing is Schiff “cheapened the whole process” by paraphrasing the transcript. Whatever damage was done by that was pretty well undone when he nailed Maguire to the wall for his decision to go the WH and DOJ about the complaint because he had made a personal decision that executive privilege applied even though that’s not how the law or legal precedent works.
