These kinds of scares have been around since the late 60’s at least. They just keep recycling their fear talk with different ‘dangers’ since. From razor blades to drugs to who knows that will be next. I pretty much chalk the fear pushers up to people that hate Halloween and are trying to throw a wrench into the whole holiday.

When I was a kid in the 1970s, it was all about the razor blades in candy apples and candy spiked with Angel Dust.

I think there was one case where some crazy SOB did tamper with Halloween treats, but now I can’t recall the details.
