And this is where we disagree. He opposes an America that violates her own core values, freedom of speech and civil liberties. So do I. But I don’t want to fight this morning, about GG or anything else.

GG should get props for not being one of those liberals who mysteriously shut up about Gitmo once Obama was elected, or being one of those conservatives who suddenly cared about civil liberties and the rule of law once Obama was elected.

I don’t have problems with people I consider “true believers”. Even if I disagree with their views they take principled stands and remain consistent, I like that. I may not vote for them but I respect them.
