His parent’s weren’t citizens at the time of his birth. This is the contrived definition they use to disqualify Obama, that his father wasn’t a citizen. Therefore they don’t want Rubio as VP because a VP must be qualified to become President. If Romney nominates Rubio then it means the GOP establishment has tossed their entire argument down the shitter. The GOP establishment doesn’t want to do that because it would alienate the birthers and they want their votes. The GOP establishment types know how much time and devotion has gone into creating this line of thought and they want to capitalize on the support of racist xenophobes for as long as possible.
