I wonder if they wanted to do something about guns, but Jeb was too fumble fingers to say it, so they tried to do it without words. And still got mockery.

As Richard M. Nixon said of Barbara, “Now there’s a woman who really knows how to HATE.”

Richard was about as pleasant to be around as a wounded cobra, and as malignant as a wasp. For him to say this in fear/respect of another human being is sobering.
