I hope folks down there know that they’ve got to do more than get change in DC.

They’ve got to do it at the state level too.

Heck, we’ve got some Ohio school district looking to ban bookbags as a “safety measure”, even though it does nothing to actually enhance security. It harms the education of the students.

Instead of dealing with easy availability of guns, they’re making it harder for kids to get educated.

Yeah, they know - and they were in Talahassee when the Senate voted against the assault weapons ban (to chants of SHAME).
